Michelle Quinn
Hello, and thank you for considering me for the position of Graphic Designer. Below you will find a few examples of some of the work I have done for employers, clients, and friends and family.
Web
I've done many initial builds, several redesigns, and a very fair amount of updating and posting. No job is too big or too small.

A larger project I worked on more recently was transforming a group of school district sites that were being built and managed separately into a cohesive design and format while also bringing them up to legal standards of accessibility.

For example: The bell and bus schedules, as well as most of the information that had been previously posted, were in PDF format making it difficult to read on mobile and unusable by screen readers.

There was a massive amount of information to sift through and properly format and it was quite rewarding to see so much improvement.
I have a lot of experience building HTML emails across a variety of platforms. I believe email is still a very important tool in a company's marketing.

This email was created to feature a client's newest product, e-sign software, that had been really taking off and earning prestigious awards in it's industry.

This same client also offered a very popular tax return solution for accounting firms. I wanted to keep the look and function similar across their various products while still giving each product it's own time to shine.

We also featured several webinars this client held that would introduce their products to those who were curious as well as ones for current customers who wanted to dig deeper into the software they were already using.
Social
Social Media is obviously at the forefront of most companies marketing plan these days because it's such an effective way to connect with your customer more personally and rapidly.
I have experience making graphics for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Twitch but would feel comfortable posting for any social media site.
Just for fun
I really do enjoy building websites, HTML emails and marketing materials. It feels great to help out friends and family with their projects and businesses and it lets me explore new avenues of creativity and problem solving.
My dad has been a welder and fabricator since he was in high school. When he opened his own shop, I wanted to make sure he had a proper online presence. Unfortunately, due to COVID, his shop is currently closed.
My cousin is a therapist who wanted to expand her services to the underserved parts of her community. I got her set up with a site that outlines her qualifications and approach so those in need may more easily find her.
Some friends of mine recently turned their hobby of machine embroidery into a successful Etsy shop. They wanted a simple one-page to help fill out their online reach and I was happy to oblige.
A bit more
I've had the chance to do several email newsletters as well. Unfortunately, screenshots of them are quite large and difficult to share.
I've chopped this one in half so you can get the gist without having to scroll forever. But, if you would like to see more of them, I'd be happy to supply them.

Working on projects for clients is exciting but, unfortunately, that meant our own agency materials often got pushed to the bottom of the list and had become quite out of date. I wanted to make a point of freshening up our company site.

Many, if not most, of the blog posts had been written before I was hired. I spent quite a bit of time making sure the articles were updated with the latest information, photos, links and were SEO-friendly.

This site was getting very near completion, mostly just some final tweaks and fills needed but, sadly, I was not allowed to finish it.
I also like playing video games, from time to time, so when I joined an online group of players, I made a website for the promotion of our guild.

This site was designed in such a way that it would allow for the background images and theme to be easily switched out depending on the art of the current expansion. All images were properly attributed in line with the publisher's guidelines.
It was also necessary for changes in information to be easily changeable and not affect the layout.

Considering the vast majority of these types of sites, at the time, were still made up of barely legible text and some poorly cropped, low-resolution images, it went over quite well and was instrumental in recruiting many players.

. I'd be happy to show you more examples (they can get quite long to post), if you'd like. Mauris porta ex id nisl eleifend blandit a eu ex.
